Description: In our time, full of unpredictable circumstances, when the military conflict is still ongoing, it is especially important to pay attention to the most vulnerable groups of society – children. Our high goal and task is to do everything possible to help them escape from the tragic realities of military events and feel safe and supported.

Our approach is based not only on diverting attention from the problems, but also on actively creating a positive environment where everyone can feel safe and find various ways to express their individuality.

In the course of the project implementation:

  • 3 child friendly spaces were opened;
  • mobile groups are visiting Kherson region to distract children from military topics;
  • trainings on mine safety and child protection are being conducted;
  • support is provided in the area of MHPSS through group sessions and individual consultations;
  • positive parenting trainings for parents are conducted;
  • camps for adolescents are organized.

Implementation and coverage:

  • 1782 children attended child friendly spaces, camps and outreach events in Kherson region;
  • 163 parents were trained in Positive Parenting;
  • 1000 children received sets of warm clothes and stationery;
  • 50 children received laptops for studying;
  • 95 children received case management services.
