π§π§ Child-Friendly Spaces and Psychosocial Support


We create safe and friendly spaces for children where they can feel supported, experience stability and positive emotions, take a break from the stressful realities of war, and relive childhood in a caring environment.
Within the child-friendly spaces, the following activities are provided:
- group sessions to develop life skills and emotional resilience;
- creative workshops, art therapy sessions, and play-based activities;
- sports, board, and team games to develop social skills;
- educational and practical activities integrating principles of Environmental Sustainability and Climate Action (ESCA);
- group psychological support for caregivers.

π Mobile Outreach Teams to Communities
To support residents of remote and hard-to-reach communities, mobile teams operate consisting of:
- a facilitator,
- a lawyer,
- a psychologist.
The teams conduct outreach visits to communities in Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv regions, where:
- children participate in developmental and psychosocial activities;
- parents receive psychological counseling;
- legal consultations on current social issues are provided;
- referrals to other services are made when necessary.
πΈ Cash Assistance βCash for Winterisationβ
Cash assistance for winter preparation is provided to socially vulnerable households that meet donor-defined criteria.
Amount of assistance: UAH 19,400 per household.
The funds may be used for:
- heating costs;
- fuel purchase;
- home insulation;
- other urgent winter-related household needs.
Area of implementation: Dnipropetrovsk region, Tomakivka settlement community.
π€ Who We Support
The project is aimed at supporting children and families from vulnerable population groups, including:
- low-income families;
- families with children with disabilities;
- internally displaced persons (IDPs);
- families affected by hostilities.
Beneficiary selection is carried out in accordance with vulnerability criteria defined by the donor.
Expected Results During the Project Implementation Period
- 360 children will attend child-friendly spaces and participate in regular educational and therapeutic activities.
- 20 parents and caregivers will receive group psychological support.
- 95 individuals will receive services from mobile outreach teams.
- 895 households will receive cash assistance.
