This project aims to meet the basic needs of the most vulnerable groups affected by the war, focusing on residents of frontline regions and internally displaced persons (IDPs)
Funding for the project: in partnership with the international organization World Vision International, with financial support from USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA).
Description: This project aims to meet the basic needs of the most vulnerable groups affected by the war, focusing on residents of frontline regions and internally displaced persons (IDPs).
The project includes:
Multi-purpose cash assistance — for households that have lost their income and need support to cover their most urgent expenses.
Hygiene kits — tailored to the specific needs of women, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and families with children.
Institutional kits for shelters — to provide essential household items in temporary accommodation facilities hosting IDPs.
The project is implemented in partnership with local communities to ensure that assistance reaches those who need it most.
Expected results of the assistance distribution:
- 10,800 Ukrainians will receive financial assistance (amounting to 10,800 UAH each);
The following will be distributed to those in need:
- 3,400 family and individual hygiene kits
- 250 children’s hygiene kits
- 250 women’s hygiene kits
- 250 hygiene kits for persons with disabilities
- 30 institutional hygiene kits for shelters hosting IDPs
Contents of the family hygiene kit: toothbrush – 3 pcs, toothpaste 75 ml – 3 pcs, soap bars 125 g – 6 pcs, shampoo 800 ml – 2 bottles, hygiene pads 20 pcs – 3 packs, toilet paper 65 m – 12 rolls, hand sanitizer 150 ml – 3 pcs, towel 50x90cm – 1 pc, plastic bucket 9-11L – 1 pc, washing powder 2kg – 3 pcs, surface cleaner 1L – 1 pc, dishwashing gel 0.5L – 3 pc, wet wipes, 72 pcs – 3 pcs, razor 5 pcs – 3 sets, shaving foam – 2 pcs, kitchen dishwashing sponge – 1 pack.
Contents of individual hygiene kit: toothbrush – 1 pc, toothpaste 75 ml – 1 pc, soap bars 125 g – 2 pcs, shampoo 800 ml – 1 bottle, hygiene pads 20 pcs – 1 pack, toilet paper 65 m – 4 roll, hand sanitizer 150 ml – 1 pc, towel 50x90cm – 1 pc, plastic bucket 9-11L – 1 pc, washing powder 2 kg – 1 pc, surface cleaner 1L – 1 pc, dishwashing gel 0.5L – 1 pc, wet wipes, 72 pcs – 1 pc, razor 5 pcs – 1 set, shaving foam – 1 pc, kitchen dishwashing sponge – 1 pack.
Contents of the women’s hygiene kit: soap for intimate hygiene 300 ml – 1 pc, hygiene pads day -3 packs, hygiene pads night – 2 packs, wet wipes 120 pcs – 3 packs.
Contents of the hygiene kit for children: baby soap – 1 pc, baby diapers – 4 packs, baby wipes, 120 pcs – 2 pcs, baby powder – 4 pcs, baby moisturizer – 2 pcs.
Contents of the hygiene kit for people with special needs: wet wipes 120 pcs – 5 pcs, rubber gloves – 1 pc, zinc ointment 25g – 6 pcs, soap bar 125 g – 2 pcs, washing powder 800 g – 2 pcs, adult diapers 30 pcs – 6 packs, absorbent sheets 30 pcs – 3 packs, baby moisturizer 200 g – 3 pcs.
Contents of the institutional hygiene kit: liquid soap 500 ml – 9 pcs, washing powder 4.5kg – 11 pcs, dishwashing gel 500ml – 9 pcs, liquid bleach, 5 l – 6 bottles.surface cleaner 5 L – 3 pcs, garbage bags 60 L – 100 pcs, toilet paper roll 65 m – 30 pcs, mop – 2 pcs, plastic bucket 14 L – 2 pcs, cleaning brush for WC – 5 pcs, rubber cleaning gloves – 12 pcs, paper towels 200 sheets – 30 packs, kitchen dishwashing sponge, pack of 5 – 2 packs, hand sanitizers 1 L – 5 pcs.
