Funding for the project: in partnership with the international organization World Vision International, with financial support from USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA).
Description: Despite the ongoing conflict, which has been going on for a considerable period of time, it is important to note that the need to provide basic needs for Ukrainians remains relevant. The project described here aims to provide much-needed humanitarian assistance, which includes various aspects such as personal hygiene products, food kits for families, cash assistance, and institutional kits for shelters. The initiative aims to alleviate the difficulties faced by people in conflict-affected areas and to support those in need of special attention and assistance.


Implementation and coverage:
- 14880 Ukrainians received cash assistance (in the amount of UAH 10800);
- 19400 persons received food kits;
- 18658 persons received hygiene kits, including: 7939 family hygiene kits, 250 women’s hygiene kits, 250 children’s hygiene kits, 250 hygiene kits for people with disabilities;
- 30 institutional hygiene kits and 29 collective kits were distributed to sheltered housing for IDPs.


Composition of sets
Contents of the food kit: buckwheat – 3 kg, rice – 1 kg, pasta – 1 kg, oatmeal – 1 kg, white flour – 1 kg, canned meat – 1 can, sardines, canned in oil – 1 can, canned peas – 1 can, sunflower oil – 1 litre, sugar – 1 kg, salt – 1 kg.
Cintents of the family hygiene kit: toothbrush – 3 pcs, toothpaste 75 ml – 3 pcs, soap bars 125 g – 6 pcs, shampoo 800 ml – 2 pcs, soap bars for washing clothes 125 g – 6 pcs, hygiene pads 20 pcs – 3 packs, toilet paper 65 m – 12 rolls, hand sanitizer 150 ml – 3 pcs, towel 50x90cm – 1 pc, plastic bucket 9-11L – 1 pc, washing powder 2kg – 3 pc, surface cleaner 1L – 1 pc, dishwashing gel 1.5L – 3 pc, flyer with information on hygiene promotion.
Contents of the women’s hygiene kit: soap for intimate hygiene 300ml – 1 pc, hygiene pads day – 2 packs, hygiene pads night – 3 packs, wet wipes 120pcs – 3 packs.


Contents of the hygiene kit for children: baby soap – 1 pc, baby diapers, 52pcs – 4 packs, baby wipes, 72pcs – 2 pcs, baby powder – 2 pcs, baby moisturizer – 2 pcs.
Contents of the hygiene kit for people with special needs: wet wipes 120 pcs – 5 pcs, rubber gloves – 1 pc, zinc ointment 25g – 6 pcs, soap bar 125g – 2 pcs, washing powder 800g – 2 pcs, adult diapers 30 pcs – 6 packs, absorbent sheets 30 pcs – 3 packs, baby moisturizer 200g – 3 pcs.
Contents of the collective shelter set: bunk bed – 10 pieces, single mattress – 20 pieces, blanket – 20 pieces, duvet cover – 40 pieces, bedsheet – 40 pieces, pillow – 20 pieces, pillowcase – 40 pieces, towel – 40 pieces, charging station – 1 piece, 5 socket multi-plug adapter – 4 pieces.
Contents of the institutional hygiene kit: liquid soap 500ml – 9 pcs, washing powder 4.5kg – 11 pcs, dishwashing gel 500ml – 9 pcs, disinfectant 5L – 9 pcs, surface cleaner 5Ll – 3 pcs, garbage bags 60L – 100 pcs, toilet paper roll 65m – 30 pcs, mop – 2 pcs, plastic bucket 14L – 2 pcs, cleaning brush for WC – 5 pcs, rubber cleaning gloves – 12 pcs, paper towels 200 sheets – 30 packs, kitchen dishwashing sponge, pack of 5 – 2 packs, hand sanitizers 1L – 5 pcs, flyer with information to promote hygiene.
