Taking into consideration the shelling by Russian troops of the critical infrastructure of Ukraine, it became clear that with the onset of winter, many Ukrainians will face the problem of lack of heat in their homes
Funding for the project: in partnership with the international organization World Vision International, with financial support from Aktion Deutschland Hilft.
Description: Taking into consideration the shelling by Russian troops of the critical infrastructure of Ukraine, it became clear that with the onset of winter, many Ukrainians will face the problem of lack of heat in their homes. With this in mind, together with partners from World Vision International and Aktion Deutschland Hilft a project was launched to help the war-affected population of Ukraine with warm things and means for heating in cold weather.
Goal: The project aims at the distribution of 8,600 sets of warm clothing, which includes: a jacket, a hat, a scarf, mittens, socks, slippers, and a blanket, as well as power banks for recharging your electronic devices during power outages.
Coverage: During the project implementation, we distributed:
- 8600 sets of clothes;
- 1433 gas stoves;
- 1433 fan heaters;
- 50 tons of heating briquettes.
