Good news for the residents of the social center for IDPs in Novoselytsia!
In Novoselytsia, Chernivtsi region, the construction of a long-awaited playground for children living in the local social center for internally displaced persons, which is under the care of our “Arms of Mercy” foundation, has begun. This project will be a real gift for the children and their families who have found shelter here.
The new playground will become an interesting and safe place for the youngest residents of the center to play and have fun, and will improve the living conditions for all those who currently live in the institution.
What awaits children and adults?
- Modern children’s playground PlayBaby
- InterAtletika swing-balancer for active games
- Street Sport sports complex for keeping fit
- Rubber coating for safety during games
- Cozy outdoor tables with benches for relaxation and socializing

The implementation of this important project became possible thanks to the SCLR program of support for community initiatives in Bukovyna, implemented by the NGO AREAC – Chernivtsi Regional Association for Social Development. Administrative support is provided by Fundatia Heks/Eper Romania, and funding is provided by Swiss Solidarity and Act Alliance.
This project is a vivid example of how joint efforts can create comfortable conditions for those in need of support. The new playground will become not just a place for entertainment, but also a symbol of care and community unity in supporting internally displaced people.
We believe that this space will bring a lot of joy and positive emotions to children and adults, help them adapt to the new place and create an atmosphere of home comfort in the social center.
