Opening Сhild Friendly Spaces: Bringing Kids and Communities Together
Our charity fund, “Arms of Mercy”, is opening modern child friendly spaces. These spaces will serve as centers of care, development, and inspiration for children and families in need of support during these challenging times
As part of the project “Building resilience of crisis-affected communities through enhanced program management practices of Civil Society Organizations in Ukraine”, implemented with the support of the international organization World Vision, our charity fund, “Arms of Mercy”, is opening modern child friendly spaces. These spaces will serve as centers of care, development, and inspiration for children and families in need of support during these challenging times.
What Awaits Children in Our Spaces?
We have created a safe and welcoming environment where every child can feel secure, nurture their talents, and make new friends. Our program includes:
- Creative workshops;
- Group discussions for psycho-emotional support;
- Opportunities to meet peers and communicate in a safe space;
- Sports activities and board games;
- Activities to strengthen family bonds;
- “Positive Parenting” training to help build strong and trusting relationships between parents and children;
- Professional psychological support.

Our centers are already open for visitors in the following cities and villages:
- Zaporizhzhia, 5 Pischana Street
Schedule:
- Monday: 3:00 PM–5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 3:00 PM–5:00 PM
- Friday: 3:00 PM–5:00 PM
- Romny, 143/1 Zaliznychna Street
Schedule:
- Thursday: 4:00 PM–6:00 PM
- Friday: 3:00 PM–5:00 PM
- Perkopivka Village, Romny District, 1/A Kosmonavtiv Street
Schedule:
- Saturday: 2:00 PM–4:00 PM
- Chernivtsi, 31g Komarova Street
Schedule:
- Monday: 4:00 PM–6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 4:00 PM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 4:00 PM–6:00 PM
Who Can Participate?
Our spaces are open to families and children from vulnerable categories, including:
- Large families (with three or more children);
- Internally displaced persons (IDPs);
- Single-parent households;
- People with disabilities;
- Orphans;
- Families with children under 1 year old or pregnant women;
- Children affected by armed conflict, among many others.


Participation in all programs is completely free of charge.
In these difficult times, when many families face numerous challenges, these spaces become islands of stability and support. We believe that our activities will not only foster children’s development but also help restore trust, confidence, and unity within communities.
Together, we are building a future where every child is safe and has the opportunity to fulfill their potential.
