During 2019-2021, volunteers of the “Arms of Mercy” charitable fund implemented a project and feed homeless people

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, almost every Ukrainian faced difficulties in one or another area. One of the most acute was the problem of not having enough food, especially in the areas where hostilities were taking place

Despite the fact that the war has been going on for a considerable period of time, the need to satisfy the basic needs of Ukrainians still stays

The “Arms of Mercy” charity fund, in cooperation with “World Vision International” and the CF “We are Close”, carried out the registration of IDPs and other vulnerable categories of the population in the Kelmenetska, Velikokuchurivska, and Hlybotka territorial communities while implementing the donor program of the German partners “Aktion Deutschland Hilft”

According to WHO data, during the 2022-2023 heating season, about three million Ukrainians were in search of warmth and safety due to constant attacks by the Russian Federation on the critical infrastructure of Ukraine. In pursuit of the solution to this issue, СF “Arms of Mercy” launched a project that consisted in providing people with solid fuel stoves for potbelly stoves.

Taking into consideration the shelling by Russian troops of the critical infrastructure of Ukraine, it became clear that with the onset of winter, many Ukrainians will face the problem of lack of heat in their homes

During the war, many families found themselves in difficult life circumstances, most of which, at the initial stage, needed urgent help

Psychological first aid training is a program designed to support internally displaced persons, volunteers, clergy, social service workers, and those who work with people in times of crisis, providing them with moral and spiritual support

People living in eastern and southern Ukraine have urgent needs for our assistance as they face major challenges on a daily basis due to the ongoing hostilities and humanitarian crisis, and are in the greatest need of our support and solidarity in this difficult period
